MOTION GRAPHIC DESIGN
ASSIGNMENT: STATION IDENT
The individual assignment is required to create five different motion graphic video of station idents of a television channel or network. The video must be consistent in terms of branding, storyline and graphic styles of the television channel or network. The duration of each station ident is not more than 10 seconds.
Station ident or identification is the act of radio or TV slots or systems differentiating themselves on-air, normally by methods for a call sign or brand name. The station ident usually shows on-air regularly between the break of commercial or in the beginning of the shows or movies.

Station Ident 1: Horror
As I researched, most of the horror films involved bloods and suspense scenes. The elements of hands or blood always appear on the character. The lights usually spot on to character while the background was always in dark. The color is mostly red and black.
Station Ident 2: Family
For the family genre, I found out that the font color strikes out. This genre usually contains humour and a bit seriousness into it. To me ball is related to me when I was a kid, where I used to play with my family. The ball was purposely designed as X-box consoles game. As X-box is for family games.
Station Ident 3: Romance
The movies are about the love stories that focus more on emotion, passionate and affectionate romance involved.
Station Ident 4: Sci-Fi
The movies are usually about the virtual world, fictional science-based, and futuristic elements like spaceship and so on.
Station Ident 5: Action
The movies are usually feature a hero or heroine and antagonist fighting, chasing, shooting and some violence elements
